We are looking for an Azure system administrator whose role will be to set up, manage access and operate on the new platform.
Position description
As an Azure System Administrator, you will work within a multidisciplinary project team while acting as the link between the client’s business needs and the techno-functional teams.
Your main tasks will be to collect and document the client’s functional specifications, analyze business processes, configure the solution, and support the client in the acceptance, deployment, and post-integration support phases.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex implementation strategies, analyze, design, and document products or business solutions.
- Ensure the analysis and development of software products, including design, coding, test automation, and operations, applying best practices in development, data, and security.
- Write procedures, guidelines, and development methods. Ensure the creation of documentation, preparation, and delivery of training to peers and consumers.
- Work in co-creation with partners to thoroughly understand and align solutions with business intentions and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization and the downstream impacts of changes. Ensure analysis of issues with high operational and conceptual complexity, determine root causes, and follow up on system problems during major incidents, ensuring their resolution.
- Ensure the installation and testing of packaged software or application implementation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in platform administration.
- Please note that other relevant combinations of training and experience may be considered.
- Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Experience with Azure environments (Compute, Networking, Analytics, Security, Monitoring, DNS, Kubernetes).
- Experience with IaC (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, and pipeline management).
- Experience in data platform management. Azure experience in the analytics domain.
- Experience in roles requiring management of complex or urgent situations.
- Experience in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
- Experience managing multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of French required.
